Hemi Sync Exercise
When I heard the waves I imagined myself on my favourite beach and could see the waves in my mind touching the sand with a loud roar and gently reaching out for the shoreline. I found it easy to place all my 'bits and pieces' in my mind into the wooden box and close the lid and forget about them completely.
The breathing and closing and opening the eyes took me a few times to co-ordinate but I finally got the hang of it. When making the sounds while breathing I kept my eyes completely closed as it was easier to focus without any outside light.
With each breath I was feeling very light headed but going with the flow. I felt like my body was just suspended and there were no pressure points I could feel touching anywhere, like floating. I was completely relaxed and just hearing the faint sound in my ears calming my mind and relaxing my body completely and wholly.
After the counting back to 1 and opening my eyes and stretching I was tingling throughout my body and felt ready to take on my day with renewed vigour and calmness.
