Happy Easter and Enjoy!
Here you have Happy Easter Eggs in most European Languages. I painted these with my children yesterday. This morning, it is Easter Sunday, the Easter bunny hid them in the garden.
The two youngest of my children got all excited when they went on the egg hunt. This year they found these special eggs...
"Easter is a time of Joy and not of mourning. It is a celebration of the end of sin. This Easter, look with different eyes upon each other" - from A Course in Miracles.
This inspired me to add the rest:
Overlook that which you think is wrong in another person. Instead, focus your vision on that which is innocent and pure in him. As you search for innocence in the other, you end up finding exactly that within yourself. Now you can forgive.
This is an Austrian Easter tradition we do in our family: I make a hole in the top and at the bottom of the egg and blow the eggwhite and yolk carfully through the hole.
After the empty eggs have been cleaned the whole familiy sits together and paints the eggs. We use water colours, acryl, blow-pens, felt-tip pens or what ever else adheres to eggshell.
When the eggs are dry, I push a yellow band carefully through the holes and tie each band to a big twig. When all the eggs are on, this year we manged to paint all 12 without breaking any, I hang the twig above the dining table.
This is the decoration of Easter 2013.
I hope you had a great Easter.
For next year, I will add some more quotes and pictures. If you have found some great Easter quotes or some funny Easter stories, please share them with me. Just use this form below.
